While working for Spirit Airlines, a late night flight was cancelled. I was responsible for locating those passengers who needed hotel accommodations and meal vouchers. I reviewed the reason for the cancellation of their flight, what their passenger rights were and what our responsibilities as an airline were.
My goal, was to try to keep the passengers as continued customers by providing a positive and pleasant experience. The following morning, even though I was not on the schedule, I came to work to be with the passengers as they boarded, wishing them the best while onto their destinations. By making this added effort, the passengers saw that I genuinely cared.
